Back-End Developer

Design the APIs and data services behind our project, document and reporting platforms.

Job Description

You will lead the design and delivery of secure, well-documented services that connect field data, engineering models and client reporting. This is a hands-on senior role with real influence on architecture.

Responsibilities

Design and build REST/JSON APIs and background jobs
Model data for projects, documents and sensor feeds
Own authentication, authorization and audit trails
Set up monitoring, logging and CI/CD pipelines
Mentor developers and review architecture proposals

Qualifications

5+ years building production back-end systems
Strong with Node.js/TypeScript or an equivalent stack
Experience with relational databases and query tuning
Security-minded: OWASP, secrets management, least privilege

Nice to Have

Cloud infrastructure experience (AWS or Azure)
Experience with GIS or time-series data
Event-driven architecture
